ifrit software package provides powerful tool for visualizing 3-dimensional data sets, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ifrit
ifrit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ifrit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ifrit *
You will get with ifrit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
